Safe City for All
Mandurah deserves to be a place where families feel safe, seniors walk with confidence, and
children can play without fear. But right now, our city is in trouble.
Let’s call it what it is:
Crime is rising. Drugs are spreading. Hooning is out of control.
Anti-social behaviour has become far too common and far too tolerated.
Many residents have told me they no longer feel safe walking at night or letting their children
out of sight. That is not the Mandurah we love. And that is not the Mandurah I am willing to
accept.
As your Mayor, I will lead with urgency, strength, and action to bring safety back to our
city. Enough excuses. Enough finger-pointing. The time for talk is over, the time to act is
now.
Here’s what I will fight for:
- More frontline police for Mandurah, I will strongly lobby the State Government for increased local police presence, not just promises.
- Increased funding for CCTV and lighting, Dark, poorly lit areas invite trouble. I will push both State and Federal governments to invest in better street lighting and surveillance across our suburbs.
- Zero tolerance for crime and hooning, I will work with WA Police to crack down hard on hoons, repeat offenders, and drug dealers who think they own our streets.
- Early intervention to prevent youth crime, I will support local programs that engage young people before they turn to crime. Prevention is just as important as enforcement.
I have done it before:
In 2022, my direct advocacy brought 14 new police officers to Mandurah because I knew how to fight, and I never gave up. Now I am ready to lead that fight from the front as your next Mayor.
I will do everything in my power to make Mandurah safe again.
This is not about politics; it is about protecting our homes, our families, and our future.
But I cannot do it alone.
If you stand with me, I will go the extra mile for you, every single day.
Together, we can take our city back.
Mandurah deserves better—and we will achieve it.
