				Vote Ahmed Zilani
For Mayor
Local Independent
Hello, I’m Ahmed Zilani.
Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of serving as your North Ward Councillor.
I’m an Engineer graduated with distinction from the USA, but Mandurah is where I truly found home. More than a decade ago, my wife Rozina and I chose Meadow Springs as the place to raise our family. We were drawn here by the coastal lifestyle and the welcoming spirit of this community.
Rozina works in the healthcare industry, and together we’ve raised our only child, Josh. He makes us proud every day. Not only is he studying a double degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics at UWA, but he has also been honoured as Youth Citizen of the Year for his contributions to our community.
I’ve dedicated myself to serving you as your full-time Councillor with honesty, integrity, and hard work. I’ve listened to your concerns, stood up for what matters, and never shied away from fighting for a better Mandurah.
Now, I’m running for Mayor of Mandurah because I believe our city and its people deserve better, and together, we can achieve it.

Safe City for All
Mandurah deserves to be a place where families feel safe, seniors walk with confidence, and children can play without fear…….
Employment & Jobs
Mandurah has so much untapped potential, but too many locals are still struggling to find stable, meaningful work.We can’t afford to keep losing our talent……
Community Face Lift
Mandurah is a beautiful city, but it needs care, attention, and a clear plan to bring out its full potential. Too many neighbourhoodsare being neglected……
Street Trees & Parks
Mandurah should be a greener, cooler, and more liveable city for us and for future generations. But over the years, …..
No Brewery in Hall Park
Hall Park is one of Mandurah’s most treasured public spaces – a place where families picnic, children play, and our community gathers for events…….
Town Hall Meetings
As Mayor, I will make sure the Council doesn’t just sit in the chambers, we go out and
meet you where you are……..
