Employment & Jobs
Mandurah has so much untapped potential, but too many locals are still struggling to find stable, meaningful work.
We can’t afford to keep losing our talent and our youth to Perth or beyond.
I believe every Mandurah resident deserves the dignity of a job and the hope of a better future. That is why job creation will be at the heart of my agenda as Mayor.
Here’s what I will push for:
- Attract new industries and investment to Mandurah, especially in renewable energy, technology, tourism, and marine sectors.
- Lobby for State and Federal grants to support local businesses and create apprenticeships and traineeships for young people.
- Work collaboratively with the State and Federal Government’s to ensure Mandurah is getting its fair share of public investment.
- Support small businesses, cut red tape, streamline council processes, and ensure local businesses have the backing they need to grow and hire.
- Champion major infrastructure projects that create jobs and build long-term value for our city.
I have delivered real results before, such as successfully lobbied and make the Lakelands Train Station a reality after being neglected for around 20 years.
As Mayor, I will bring that same determination to build a stronger economy and more opportunities for local workers.
Mandurah has the talent, the location, and the people. Now it needs leadership that gets results.
